The Queer Cultural Center has launched a new exhibition series in partnership with the Lexington Club and is continuing that series by seeking submissions for a group exhibition of artwork during October-November, 2014.

What do we collect, accumulate, recycle and carry thru life to comfort us? What are the costs of baggage–material and emotional–and is it still possible to travel light?

The LEX, Your Neighborhood Dyke Bar, has been a community mainstay for the entire Queer Community, since 1997. We are looking for 2D work: Painting, Photography, Graphic Art, Drawing, Collage, etc. to be on view during regular business hours (5p-2a). Since the LEX is a Bar, neither QCC nor the LEX can be responsible for any damage to the work. Please keep this in mind when you are submitting your work. We suggest prints of work or work framed under Plexiglas. All work must arrive “ready to hang.”
