The Queer Ancestors Project is devoted to forging sturdy relationships between LGBTQI people and our ancestors. Using history as a linchpin, we build community by providing emerging Queer and Trans artists free interdisciplinary workshops in printmaking, writing, and Queer history. Our exhibitions provide a window on the past through which we can glimpse our collective future. Join us in honoring Honoring Anarchists & Arsonists,

Abolitionists & Border Crossers, Abandoned Relics, Dissident Divas,

Divine Intervention, & Hope. Visit Queerancestorsproject.org for upcoming workshops! Generously supported by The California Arts Council, The San Francisco Arts Commission, SOMArts Affordable Space Program, the Queer Cultural Center, the Zellerbach Family Foundation, & Chrysalis Studio.
